She was the one who was very flexible
I find it highly amusing to note that the host of Filter and Trading Spaces: Girls vs. Boys is the same actress that played Fook Mi in Austin Powers: Goldmember. Yes I know she's an actress and that's what they do: play different roles. Just give me this silly little bit of amusement, okay?

That would make a great t-shirt. And here is little creation of my own:
How do I love thee?
int count = 0;

I belive it does Mrs. Browning justice.

T'is only a flesh wound! Have at thee!
I woke up with a nasty bruise Sunday Morning. Roughly the size of a golf ball, the hematoma suddenly appeared on the left side of my abdomen, roughly one inch up and two inches away from my belly button. It was a nice shade of deep purple, and hurts like the dickens when you poke it.
Anyone know how I got? I don't, ouch.

I have excellent taste in entertainment software
1up.com has finished their Essential 50 Archive: a list of the most important video games ever made. It is an exstensive selection ranging all the way back to Spacewars back in 1962. Crazy!
By my count I've played 40 of the games listed there; 41 if you count The Macintosh as a "game" ... which they did so I guess it is a solid 41. Such a high count makes the gamer geek in me feel all warm and tingly inside, like when you pull off the 99 lives trick in Super Mario Brothers. Come on, everyone know's how to do that one ... but don't get too many lives or else you'll reset the counter back to 0.

Wanted: one crush.
"What you need is a new crush." she replied, "A cute girl to fall for, just for the sake of it." And I knew she was right. She's always right. I hate that.
It has been far too long since I've fallen for a dazzling smile. I couldn't remember the last time a girl invoked a feeling of giddiness inside me. The sensation of smoldering desire that came with a crush was something I really did miss. Without it, my emotions grew stagnant. The world felt bland and I was overcome with the sensation that I needed to do something before it was too late. I hate that.
So I'm asking you to be my crush. You really don't have to do anything other then be your pretty little self. I'll do all the babbling when we talk and I am more then capable of making a fool out of myself when trying to impress you. You don't even have to promise me that this will go anywhere, I don't care. I just want to feel passionate about someone again, to feel like I'm alive and not just another robot caught in the rat race. I'd like that.

Gossip over green tea
I had lunch with Liz today. She just started a new job in the business core and the poor girl got lost in the underground maze known as The Path. All the major buildings in the downtown core are connected by a series of underground shopping malls and food courts. It can be tricky to navigate, but it is a welcomed alternative to hoofing it out on the city streets in today's balmy -33C (-28F) weather.
We caught up over udon and unagi at this restaurant called Ho Shim. During our conversation I noticed it was quite one sided. She had plenty of stories to share but I could barely come up with a anecdote to contribute. What could I say? There was simply nothing to tell her. No wacky adventures, no romantic encounters, no brushes with fate and death. Just me, going to work, hanging out with friends, doing nothing in particular except living ... but no one wants to hear about that.
This is the same reason why my blogging of late has become hollow: I feel like I have nothing really interesting to write about. Heck I am writing a post about how I have nothing interesting to write or talk about. That is the Hail Mary pass on the 4th and 10 in overtime of blog entries. Maybe I if start kicking my 2nd New Year's Resolution into gear I'd have more material for you. But then again I've never been one to kiss and blog.
Agh, bloggers block ... I dare you to say blog again. Blog!

The Starch is strong in this one
Two words: Darth Tater!
Update: Dangit! Someone thought of that witty title before me. Kudos to you.

Song of the Day - "Lady" by Lenny Kravitz
Yes that song; the one from the Gap commercials with Mrs. Bueller parading around in different outfits. A simple but sold guitar driven single with a splash of that funky attitude Mr. Kravitz always brings to his songs.
It is currently my personal favourite because I've learned how to play the majority of the song on my guitar. With the distortion up on the amplifier it sounds oh so sweet. The chrous still needs work, and I'm no where near the point where I could start to pick out the solos, but man does it sound great on my guitar.

I'm sorry but I have to go
I like to drink a lot of water throughout the day.
The size of my bladder is the equivalent to that of an ant's related organ.
This is not a complimentary combination, nor is it information you needed to know. Excuse me as I must use the facilities.

New Years Resolutions 2005
This year my resolutions are two fold. The first is to live a healthier life; The second to take a more active role in my love life.
In the past few years I've been making changes to my diet. I have stopped drinking soda pop, cut down on the sweets as much as possible, reduced my caffeine intake to practically nothing. For dinner I try to avoid pasta and rice, opting for a salad or vegetables instead. little changes like that have helped me loose some pounds but more importantly keep it off.
But that's about as much as I've done to improve my health. Most of my exercise consists of walking about the city during my commute and at lunch. That is simply not enough if you want to improve your cardiovascular system and burn off some fat. So this year I am going to get more active. Even if it means just playing DDR every day for half an hour I have to get my heart rate up each day.
When it comes to my love life, 2004 was more active then usual. I had my ups and my downs but now I'm starting the new year with a clean slate. Prior to that I've been fortunate enough to sort of fall into relationships as I went along. I have never had to chase a girl, or really fight to get something going like other people have. Romance would always seem to find me at the exact moment I wasn't looking for it at all.
I realize that taking this passive stance just won't cut it. Waiting for something to happen is so 2004. It is time to get active, to get out there and meet those fish in the sea. Will I find romance? Will I get turned down? Will I make new friends instead of romantic interests? Probably a little bit of all the above. It is better that something happens instead of nothing at all.
Kris was right when she said "2005 is all about comin' up!" Time for me to get proactive in more ways then one. Do it!
